I started reading The Heir Chronicles over winter break, and that was all I wound up doing. From the beginning, I was entranced by the world of the magical guilds, and their battle for equal standings with the wizards. These books had everything you could want in a fantasy adventure, magic, sword fighting, great characters, and of course love. These are excellent books that should be read one right after the other.
